Julian Marx was born and raised in Miami. He developed a love and passion for transactional law at a young age coming to work with his father, James. From the age of 11, Julian has attended Florida Bar Conventions in Real Estate and Corporate Law. He graduated from Grinnell College in 2017 where he majored in history and was a 3-year basketball captain and theatre participant. Julian excelled in basketball, setting national collegiate records. He subsequently represented United States basketball in the 2019 European Maccabi Games and played the sport professionally for Killester BC in the Irish Premier League. While in Ireland, Julian took several international business classes at the Dublin Institute of Technology which added to his understanding of transactional nuance. Julian has worked diligently to implement the same dedication, perseverance, and attention to detail from athletics into his legal practice.
Julian graduated from the University of Miami Law school in May of 2022, with Cum Laude honors. Additionally, Julian graduated with an LLM Degree from the University of Miami in 2023. He was heavily involved in extracurriculars at UM Law serving as a student mentor, teaching assistant, symposium participant, and dean’s cup captain. Julian has also published several legal writings and presented numerous Legal topics for a variety of forums. strives to be proactive in the latest legal trends. Additionally, Julian is fluent in Spanish and was an active member of the Hispanic Latin American Student Association in Law School.
Julian currently serves as Vice Chair of Mortgage Lending for the American Bar Committee and has given presentations on the subject. Julian also serves as Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Miami teaching Mortgage Law, and has served in this role since the fall of 2023 Julian also serves as a Bar Exam Instructor for Ibis Prep in his spare time.
Julian has a passion for improvement and enrolled in and passed Harvard Business School’s Negotiation Mastery course, Oxford Business School’s Real Estate Investment Course and several other legal mastery courses. Apart from law, Julian writes children books hoping to inspire the next generation. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Julian served as a basketball coach at Ransom Everglades and Belen Jesuit, which have benefitted his leadership skills.
Julian aspires to follow in his father’s footsteps as a premier transactional lawyer in Miami.
