Julian Marx* was born and raised in Miami. He developed a love and passion for transactional law at a young age coming to work with his father, James. From the age of 11, Julian has attended Florida Bar Conventions in Real Estate and Corporate Law. He graduated from Grinnell College in 2017 where he majored in history and was a 3-year basketball captain and theatre participant. Julian excelled in basketball, setting national collegiate records. He subsequently represented United States basketball in the 2019 European Maccabi Games and played the sport professionally for Killester BC in the Irish Premier League. While in Ireland, Julian took several international business classes at the Dublin Institute of Technology which added to his understanding of transactional nuance. Julian has worked diligently to implement the same dedication, perseverance, and attention to detail from athletics into his legal practice.

Julian graduated from the University of Miami Law school in May of 2022, with Cum Laude honors. He was heavily involved in extracurriculars at UM Law serving as a student mentor, teaching assistant, symposium participant, and dean’s cup captain triumphing over the Medical School for the first-time in half a decade. Julian has also published several legal writings and strives to be proactive in the latest legal trends. Additionally, Julian is fluent in Spanish (reading and writing) and was an active member of the Hispanic Latin American Student Association in Law School. Julian has a passion for improvement and is enrolled in the LLM program (Master of Laws) at the University of Miami in Entertainment and Sports Law, as well as the Real Estate Master Course offered by The Fund. He also passed Harvard Business School’s Negotiation Mastery course, and a multitude of online legal mastery courses. Apart from law, Julian has served as a basketball coach at Ransom Everglades and Belen Jesuit, which have benefitted his leadership skills. Julian aspires to follow in his father’s footsteps as a premier transactional lawyer in Miami.
